Can art save a man’s life? Jamie Scanlon (aka JPS) would say so. JPS was homeless with drink and drug problems when he popped up to a Banksy exhibition in Bristol. Inspired by Banksy’s work he started stencilling, eventually establishing his own brand of witty street art all around Weston-Super-Mare. JPS fun style, involving pop culture characters along with some frighteningly realistic horror movie characters, made him famous across the city. His work has been featured at the Tate Modern and the Weston Street Art Trail map has been set up to show people and tourists his amazing work!
